Consorto features in a new proptech map – this time, for start-ups in Europe, North America and Asia.

A few months ago, we revealed how Consorto was included in an influential Baltic proptech map.

Consorto also featured on the top 100 Proptech Map for European start-ups on the proptechmap.com website. That listed finalists in the Built World Innovation Contest 2019 in Munich, Germany, in October.

Now, we are named in a new Proptech Venture Map. This is published by Proptech Capital, a new venture capital fund and accelerator in Europe launched by Odysseus Alternative Ventures.

This mapping comes through Proptech Capital’s network and dealflow. It is also from attendees of the MIPIM property trade show in 2018 and 2019. The startups operate in both commercial and residential real estate sectors.

Exciting option for commercial real estate brokers and agents

Philip Verzun, Chief Executive Officer of Consorto, says, “This is now the third international proptech startup map that has featured Consorto.

“We are fast gaining a reputation as an exciting option for commercial real estate brokers and agents who want to sell more property in Europe and for cross-border investors looking to search and also to buy.”

The map is divided in three main areas: Search, Supervise and Sell. These three concepts refer to the different steps in the commercial or residential real estate customer journey, both for real estate professionals and also end-customers.

Odysseus Alternative Ventures’ Managing Partner Minh Q. Tran, explains in his blog how the map is a view on the 2019 proptech market.

Proptech, also referred to as property technology, is a set of cross-industry technologies changing the way people research, rent, buy, and manage property.

The map phases

Consorto is in the Search Phase. This corresponds to property search activities – for the end-customer to buy or for real estate agents to list them.

The Supervise phase corresponds to day-to-day activities of real estate professionals or related to the supervision of their core activities.

The Sell phase corresponds to the last step of the customer journey.

From its investment theses and its convictions on where the highest growth and also most innovative opportunities are, Proptech Capital has taken an interest in some of these sub-areas beyond the broader overview and carried out further analysis and research on relevant trends.

Proptech Capital was launched by Odysseus Alternative Ventures. The Asset Builder provides emerging businesses with access to both equity and alternative finance investments.

It identifies and invests in technology companies that positively impact the property environment, either through their business model or product innovation. The fund sources, secures and manages investments into early-stage technology ventures in Europe and also across the continent, supported by a team of investment management executives with deep sector expertise and venture capital experience.
